JCPD: Man Charged with attempted second-degree murder for allegedly firing shots at victim
A Johnson City man has been charged with attempted second degree murder on accusations he fired shots at a female victim and assaulted her.
According to the Johnson City Police Department, they were called to a domestic disturbance at a home on Concord Street the night of November 21st, and while responding, they were advised that Robert Johnson, 58, had fired shots from a revolver at the victim, who had then locked herself in a bathroom. Once police arrived, they found Johnson behind the home, who initially refused to listen to officer commands before being taken into custody.
Bond was set at $100,000 and following arraignment, plus a second court appearance, Johnson is scheduled to appear in court on February 3rd in Jonesborough.
