Local Talent To Get A Shot At Tennessee Songwriters Week

The Birthplace of Country Music Museum is announcing it will be partnering with the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development as a venue for qualifying rounds leading up to the Second annual Tennessee Songwriters Week in February. The museum, along with other venues across the state of Tennessee, will sign up local talent to compete. Top songwriters from the official qualifying rounds will perform during one of the six Tennessee Songwriters Week Showcases. Finalists get a once and a lifetime opportunity to share their original songs on the historic stage at The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. Registration for the Birthplace of Country Music Qualifying Round is open through December 31. Tennessee Songwriters Week is February 23-29.
