Greene County Man Injured, Charged After Crashing Head On Into School Bus

In an update to a story we told you about earlier, a Greene County man is injured and charged when the vehicle he was driving went out of control and hit a Greene County School bus head on. The school bus was not carrying students at the time of the incident. 23 year old William Alley Jr, was flown to a local hospital after his car went out of control while negotiating a curve near McDonald Road and Gravel Woods Road. Alley’s vehicle, spun sideways and traveled directly head on, hitting the school bus that was traveling in the opposite direction. Alley was airlifted to Johnson City Medical Center for treatment of unknown injuries. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says Alley is charged with Failure to Exercise Due Care. The bus driver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
