THP on scene of bus crash in Greeneville, no students reportedly were on bus at the time of the accident

Officials with Greene County Schools have confirmed there was a bus accident Friday morning.

Transportation officials say the accident occurred on McDonald Drive during the eight o’clock hour involving another vehicle. Officials confirm that no students were on the bus at the time of the wreck. Tennessee Highway Patrol has confirmed they are on scene working to clear up the accident.

This is an active investigation and we’ll work to get more information as it becomes available.
