DOJ Funding To Fight Opioid Crisis Heading To Southwest Virginia
The Department of Justice is waging an all out assault on the opioid crisis and more than two and a half million dollars is heading to Southwest Virginia to fight the Opioid problem. 596 thousand dollars will be used by the Mount Rogers Community Services Board for comprehensive opioid abuse site-based programs. The Department of Justice says it is using all means available to bring drug traffickers to justice, disrupt the supply chain of drugs and support law enforcement officers as well as assisting the victims of opioid abuse.
