Northam Asking For 92 Million Dollars For Low Income, Homeless Virginian’s
Reducing evictions and expanding affordable housing will be another focus on a two year budget being proposed by Virginia Governor Ralph Northam. Northam is expected to reveal the spending document soon and officials say a 92 million dollar request by Northam is calling for assistance to help low income and homeless Virginian’s. Northam says affordable housing improves health and education outcomes for residents as well as attracting new employers to the state to create new jobs.
