JCPD: Woman arrested and facing 4th DUI charge, other charges after she allegedly drove away from crash scene

A Jonesborough woman is facing her fourth DUI charge after police say she left the scene of an accident Tuesday afternoon.

Brittney Lacy, 30, additionally faces several other offenses related to the incident that started around 4:00 p.m, when police were called to the scene of a crash at the intersection of North State of Franklin Road and West Oakland Avenue. One of the drivers in the wreck told police a vehicle driven by Lacy left the scene, but officers were able to locate her a short distance away. During a search, police found nearly a gram of marijuana inside the car.

She is due in court Wednesday.
