Governor Lee To Announce One Million Dollar Grant For Elizabethton TCAT

Governor Bill Lee is announcing The Tennessee Center for Applied Technology in Elizabethton is receiving a one million dollar grant as part of the Governors Investment in Vocational Education, better recognized as the Governor’s GIVE Grant. The money is part of an earlier announced 25 million dollar grant that prioritizes learning opportunities in rural counties and enhances career and technical education statewide. Locally, Elizabethton will use the money to fund a STEM to work program at The Center for Applied Technology. The governor will make the presentation this Friday in Elizabethton.
