BCM Museum in Bristol among 22 tourist super group sites of ‘Country Music Passport’
With the critical and rating success of Ken Burns’ “Country Music” miniseries, the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development is joining the jamboree with a new program.
The Country Music Passport will be available next Wednesday and features 22 of the state’s iconic musical landmarks including the Birthplace of Country Music complex in downtown Bristol. Prizes will be awarded to tourists who check all 22 sites off the list.
Other stops listed on the passport include Loretta Lynn’s ranch in Hurricane Mills, the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville and Sun Studios in Memphis.
