CCSO: Homeowner stabbed, intruder arrested following alleged home invasion
A suspect is in custody and an investigation is underway following a New Year’s Day alleged home invasion and stabbing at a home in Carter County.
According to the Carter County Sheriff’s Office, a homeowner went to the door of his Blue Springs Road residence, and was stabbed twice by suspect Justin Williams. A report says the homeowner was able to disarm and subdue Williams until deputies arrived. Williams was placed under arrest and both the suspect and homeowner were transported to the hospital.
The homeowner’s injuries were considered serious but non-life threatening at time the report was released. Charges are pending against Williams.
