Peerless Restaurant closing for remodeling, restaurant and shopping center to see changes

Major changes are coming to the Peerless Restaurant in Johnson City.

The restaurant announced Thursday effective immediately, they are closing to remodel the building and rebrand the establishment. A tavern including a wine and whiskey lounge as well as a bakery will also be apart of the redesign. Additionally, a new annex phase of the Peerless Shopping Centre will allow the leasing of seven new spaces, expected to reopen mid 2020.

A job fair with over 80 positions available is scheduled later this spring.
