UPDATE: Sex crime charges against Bristol, Virginia doctor bound over to grand jury

A Bristol, Virginia doctor charged with several sex crimes had his case bound over to a grand jury following testimony on Friday, according to General District Court records.

Shannon Finch is accused of sexually assaulting two patients inside his Euclid Avenue office in July 2018. Finch’s medical license was revoked by state officials four months after his arrest. Police reported that a victim secured audio and video evidence of Finch inappropriately touching them during an appointment that year.

His case will be presented to the grand jury next month.
