Multi Million Dollar Bridge Repair Project In Lee County Moving Forward
A more than five and a half million dollar bridge repair project in Lee County, Virginia is moving forward with the help of the Commonwealth Transportation Board. The Route 58 bridge project has been awarded to Elk Knob of Pennington Gap who will replace the bridge at a cost of five point six million dollars. When completed, the bridge will once again carry traffic over the Powell River in Lee County and is expected to be complete by the spring of 2021.
