NEW: Sheriff says Saltville woman killed fellow drug dealer last week

A Saltville resident already jailed for drug violations has been charged with the first-degree murder of a Washington County, Virginia business owner found dead in her car last week.

Karen Lou Holmes, 48, is also facing robbery, gun and probation violation charges according to Sheriff Blake Andis. The victim in the case, 79-year-old Alberta Susan Warren was reportedly involved in a drug-dealing operation with Holmes and other suspects, the sheriff said.

Warren also operated a consignment shop in Glade Spring. She was found dead in a car on Widener Valley Road on January 16 near the Smyth County border.
