Woman Killed In Bizarre Traffic Accident In Kingsport

A woman is killed in Kingsport after a bizarre traffic accident on West Stone Drive Sunday night. According to Kingsport Police, 50 year old Paula Renee Collier was traveling in a mobility chair, attempting to cross Stone Drive near Fairmont Avenue. Collier traveled into the path of a White Honda driven and solely occupied by a seventeen year old female. The juvenile, who was the only person in the vehicle was not injured, however, Ms. Collier died from her injuries. The accident remains an active investigation by the Kingsport Police Department’s Traffic Unit
