Trouble Finding Substitutes…Carter County Closes Schools For Remainder Of Week

The flu continues to cause havoc with school schedules. In Carter County a high number of teacher absences has lead to difficulty in finding substitutes to continue classroom instruction. As a result, schools in Carter County will be closed for the remainder of the week beginning tomorrow. School officials are also reporting increased numbers in absences among the student population as well and are urging families to use the time to rest, recover and return to school on Monday February 10th.
