Plenty Of Work Needed On Tennessee’s Future Infrastructure Needs
There’s plenty of work to be done concerning Tennessee’s infrastructure needs in the near future. According to a report from the Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations, the Volunteer State will need at least 54 billion dollars to meet the immediate need for public infrastructure improvements for the next five years. The costs for the infrastructure improvements fall into six categories including Transportation and Utilities, Education, Health, Safety and Welfare, Recreation and Culture, General Government and Economic Development. The increase need for funding is primarily from road projects as part of the Tennessee Improve Act.
