Two Bristol Tennessee Employees Receive Employee Of The Year Award

Two Bristol, Tennessee employees who last winter rendered aid to an accident victim until first responders arrived are recognized with the City’s Employee of the Year Award. Richard Conner and Don Venable of the Dept of Development Services stopped enroute to a jobsite to help a motorist who had driven over an embankment. Conner and Venable were nominated by the grateful motorist, who said the two went the extra mile by giving aid to the motorist and then taking care of traffic and assuring the victim that help was on the way. The Bristol First Award was created in2014 to recognized City employees for service to the community.
