Downtown Bristol, Virginia Selected To Participate In Pilot Manufacturing Program

Bristol, Virginia is one of five communities across Virginia selected to participate in a Small Scale Manufacturing Pilot Program as part of the Virginia Main Street Program. The purpose of the pilot is to provide technical assistance to communities with potential to have small scale manufacturing as an economic development and revitalization strategy. Small scale manufacturing is rapidly growing in downtowns across the country by expanding and diversifying the employment and retail opportunities found there. The pilot is now underway and will be complete before July 2020.
