Carter County Man Arrested For Solicitation Of A Minor

Carter County authorities have arrested a Stoney Creek man after investigators discovered a video of the man requesting sexual favors from minors. 59 year old Joseph Walter Sampson is charged with solicitation of a minor. Investigators say they became aware of the video after being discovered by the child’s mother who turned it over to authorities. The video, contains visual and audio recordings of Sampson making multiple requests for sexual favors. Sampson was arrested at this home on Highway 91 and is currently being held in the Carter County Jail on 25 thousand dollars bond.
