UPDATE: Grandmother of missing toddler issued bond on stolen car charge

The grandmother of missing Sullivan County toddler Evelyn Boswell has been arraigned on a theft charge.

A judge issued Angela Boswell a $5,000 bond with the condition to wear an ankle bracelet monitoring device. Angela’s daughter Maggie Wood Boswell reported a 2007 BMW stolen last week. The car and the suspect along with her boyfriend were found and jailed in North Carolina.

The TBI says more than 500 tips have been submitted but there have been no credible sightings of 1-year-old Evelyn.
