Bristol, Tennessee sisters accused of plotting with gunman to lead victim to his death
Washington County Sheriff Blake Andis says two Bristol, Tennessee women lured a man to the scene of his murder last month as the gunman lay in wait.
Ashley Nicole Hostetter, 31, and her sister, Christine Elizabeth Mallory, 27, are charged with conspiracy and accessory before and after the fact related to the Feb. 17 shooting on Campground Road in Bristol.
The sheriff said the women plotted with Angelo Aviles to get Anthony Pickle to ride with them to the shooting site and then left the scene with Aviles, who is charged with first-degree murder after investigators said he shot Pickle, 34, with fatal shots to the head and then to the torso at nearly close range.
The two women will be arraigned in Washington County General District Court. Aviles was arraigned Feb. 21 and has another hearing Aug. 18.
