University Of Virginia Taking All Classes Online In Response To COVID-19 Outbreak
The University of Virginia is announcing they are moving all classes online and will not be holding classes on the University’s campus for the foreseeable future, quite possibly through the end of the semester. The announcement comes in response as more cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Commonwealth. In a release from the University’s President, online classes will begin Thursday March 19. The University is urging students, who are currently on Spring Break to return home or remain home if they are already there. Also, all university events with more than one hundred people are prohibited. We have reached out to the University of Virginia at Wise to see if they are using the same schedule, but so far no word from UVA Wise officials.
