King University to extend Spring break and move classes to “distance mode”
King University in Bristol is one of several local higher institutions in the Tri-Cities adjusting its operating methods as COVID-19 cases continues to rise across the country.
Thursday, school officials announced that Spring Break will be extended by one week, and students who live on campus are being asked to return home the week of March 16th. Starting March 23rd until April 20th, classes will be conducted by distance mode.
At this time, King says they anticipate classes on campus will resume on April 20th, but those plans are subject to change will any developments related to the coronavirus locally and statewide.
