Any Kingsport City School Student Under Eighteen Can Receive Free Meals While School Is Closed

To help meet the nutritional needs of students while Kingsport City Schools is closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, any child age 18 or under will be provided with a free breakfast and lunch daily during weekdays when school would have been in session. The food will be distributed using a drive through, or walk-up process at each school…no cafeteria seating will be available and the child must be present at the distribution site to receive the meal. Breakfast will be served from eight to nine am and lunch from eleven am till one pm daily on weekdays. Due to federal regulations, food will not be available during KCS spring break which begins next week. KCS buses with food will also be traveling through each school zone delivering meals
