Ballad Health’s CEO, Alan Levine Appointed To Public Charter Schools Commission

Ballad Health CEO Alan Levine is now a member of Governor Bill Lee’s Public Charter Schools Commission. Levine’s appointment was delayed for two weeks after Knoxville State Represenative Gloria Johnson questioned Levine’s record at a company he worked for in 2012. With Wednesday’s approval by Governor Lee, Levine will join other members on the commission from across the state and will hear appeals of charter school applications denied by local boards of education.
