VSP: Motorcyclist killed in Sunday crash in Washington County

A motorcycle rider has died following a crash Sunday afternoon in Washington County, VA.

State Police say a truck pulling a cattle trailer was traveling west on Osceola Road just after 2:00 p.m, and as the truck crossed over the eastbound lanes, it was struck in the side by the motorcycle.

The male motorcyclist died at the scene and his identity has yet to be released. Police say the driver of the truck was not injured. The accident remains under investigation.
