UPDATE: Couple at center of missing Baby Evelyn case cited for shoplifting in Kingsport
The couple at the center of a missing child case earlier this month in Sullivan County were cited for shoplifting at a local Walmart last week.
Angela Boswell, 42, the grandmother of toddler Evelyn Boswell, and her boyfriend, William McCloud, 33, were stopped by a loss prevention officer at the store located on Fort Henry Drive on Thursday when they tried to exit with $45 in merchandise.
A police report obtained by SuperTalk says the duo was banned from all Walmart properties for life.
They are both awaiting another hearing in Sessions Court on theft charges stemming from their arrest in North Carolina after being found in a stolen BMW.
The body of Evelyn Boswell was recovered from a shed located on a family member’s property after a TBI investigation.
