BREAKING: One person transported to hospital following stabbing in Washington County, VA

Washington County, VA Sheriff Blake Andis confirms one person has been airlifted by Medflight to the hospital following a stabbing Friday morning.

According to Sheriff Andis, they received a call about one hour ago of a stabbing in the area of the 17000 block of North Fork River Road in Abingdon.

Sheriff Andis says they are still working to find the suspect. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time. This is a developing story and we will work to get more information as it becomes available.
