UPDATE: Two dead following motorcycle crash in Kingsport

Two people are dead following a crash in Kingsport where police said a motorcycle rider pulled into the path of a truck Friday evening.

Jared C. White, 28 was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash while his passenger, Lesley B. Seckler, 33, died from her injuries on Saturday afternoon, according to a Kingsport Police Department report.

White reportedly failed to yield the right of way while pulling onto to West Stone Drive near the area of Netherland Inn Road, the report said, and the vehicle was struck by the pickup.

All lanes of West Stone Drive eastbound were closed for four hours while police investigated the crash and cleared the roadway of debris.
