Virginia Senate To Hold Spring Session At Gottwald Center…Practicing Social Distancing In Larger Space
The Senate of Virginia is not letting the COVID-19 pandemic prevent it from conducting its governmental duties as the senate announces the spring session this month will be held at the Science Museum of Virginia’s Dewey Gottwald Center. Faced with the challenges of social distancing, Senate leaders have decided against holding their session in the Senate chambers at the Capitol, and instead will conduct its business from the eleven thousand square foot facility that will comfortably allow the senate to meet within the guidelines of social distancing. The Spring session begins April 22.
