Investigation underway in Kingsport after police find deceased body outside of gas station

Kingsport Police are actively investigating a reported shooting incident that occurred early Monday morning.

Police say they were dispatched to Zoomerz gas station and convenience store, located at 1673 Fort Henry Drive around 4:50 a.m Monday. Officials say they found an adult male lying in the parking lot dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

Detectives are currently on scene, the investigation is underway, and no further information has been released at this time.
