A news release from state prison officials says they are sending staff to all DOC prisons to assist with hundreds of tests that will administered, with tests also being ordered from two Virginia universities and state health officials. All symptomatic offenders will be tested, and to this point, over 400 offenders have tested positive for coronavirus, with over 100 active cases, as well as 50 staff members that tested positive.
