Georgia Man Charged With Eluding Police In Washington County, Virginia

Virginia State Police have charged a Georgia man with eluding police and drug possession charges after a high speed chase Tuesday night in Washington County Virginia. 39 year old Dresidan C. Glenn was arrested after he led police on a pursuit after police attempted to stop him for speeding and reckless driving. Glenn exited Interstate 81 at Exit 17 and then lost control while traveling south on Route 11, ran off the road and crashed near Exit ten and the I-81 interchange. Glenn and another male passenger fled on foot. A search perimeter was set up and Glenn was apprehended without further incident. Prescription drugs and cocaine were also found in the crashed vehicle. Further charges are pending following an ongoing investigation.
