Virginia Education Superintendent Named Co-Chair OF SREB COVID Recovery Task Force

Virginia’s Superintendent of Public Instruction has been named co-chairman of a COVID-19 Regional Education Recovery Task Force. Superintendent James Lane will co chair the group tasked with helping Southern Regional Education Board member states identify strategies for re-opening schools and prepare for a potential resurgence of COVID-19. The Southern Regional Education Board will convene its first meeting next week. The task force serves 16 southern states.
