Sullivan County Mayor Plans To Reopen Courthouse May 4th

Sullivan County Mayor Richard Venable says he plans to open the County Courthouse on Monday May 4th. In a news release to elected and appointed officials and department heads, Venable says the process to reopen the courthouse for business actually will get under beginning Monday April 27. However, offices will remain closed or restricted to the public in an effort to allow employees to develop procedures for use in meeting, serving and protecting the public as well as county employees. Venable also noted that social distancing and good hygiene practices will remain in place.
