Brightridge investing in RegionAHEAD fund, partnering with TVA to help aid customers with utility payments
Leaders at Brightridge have announced a $50,000 investment to the RegionAHEAD fund and will partner with TVA to help with providing aid to customers through the Heisse Johnson Hands Up fund.
The Board of Directors unanimously approved the move on Tuesday, providing a helping hand to small businesses as well Brightridge customers who have overdue power bills. In addition to the investment to RegionAHEAD, who will provide grants to small businesses in need, Brightridge’s partnership with TVA will see the two contribute $60,000 to TVA’s community care partnership, which will directly impact the Heisse Johnson fund.
“BrightRidge is assisting as many customers as possible, including the existing no-disconnect policy for both residential and commercial customers, partnering with TVA to enhance our Heisse Johnson Hand Up Fund aiding residential customers, and now by investing in RegionAHEAD,” BrightRidge CEO Jeff Dykes said. “Our Board of Directors understands small businesses are the backbone of our regional economy, and like all of our customers, have been greatly impacted by social distancing and work at home constraints.”
Participants in the Heisse Johnson program can receive utility payment assistance of up to $250 each calendar year.
