Church Hill Police searching for alleged stabbing suspect following reported incident Tuesday
Church Hill Police are searching for a man wanted in connection to a stabbing incident at an area motel on Tuesday.
Information from the department says Daniel Powell, 29, is wanted on several charges including attempted first-degree murder. Investigators say he stabbed a male victim numerous times at the Church Hill Inn then fled from the scene in a dark colored sedan.
Powell is a white male, standing 5’11” tall, weighing 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Police say the man has a violent criminal history and is a confirmed member of the Vice Lords gang.
