Food Expert Says COVID-19 Stress Can Be Eased With Right Foods

There’s been a nearly 900 percent jump in the number of calls made to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s hotline in the past month. Now, a functional food expert says diet may be a factor in your stress level. Food expert Stuart Tomc is calling on the government to publish dietary guidelines for foods that help boost your ability to handle stress and anxiety. Tomc says foods like Turkey and other Triptophan rich foods can help fight anxiety. Other foods on the list include beef and foods rich in Vitamine B as well as Omega 3 rich foods and complex carbs. Tomc also says there is no overnight fix, but monitoring these foods and your intake can help
