UPDATE: Megan Boswell scheduled to appear in court next month, bond hearing granted for May 28th
A motion has been made for a bond hearing to take place later this month in the case of Megan Boswell.
During her initial arraignment in criminal court in Blountville on Friday, attorney Brad Sproles requested for that hearing to take place, and it was granted by Judge James Goodwin for May 28th. Sullivan County Assistant District Attorney Teresa Nelson stated they had hoped to have Megan indicted by today, but due to the large file of interview footage that both her and Brad Sproles are reviewing, the grand jury has not yet reviewed Boswell’s case.
Megan next arraignment date is scheduled for June 19th at 9:00 a.m. She remains incarcerated in the Sullivan County Jail on a $150,000 bond on one count of filing false reports.
