Four New Traffic Box Wraps To Be Installed Around Johnson City

In Johnson City, commuters will soon see some colorful changes at four traffic box wraps around the city. The Johnson City Public Works Department is adding a creative touch to the streetscape and brighten each intersection with a pop of color. The artistic wraps are part of a Creativve Placemaking Grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission. Each design reflects the unique attributes of the areas in which they will be located. Installation of the box wraps will begin Tuesday at nine a.m and will expand the program to seven traffic box wraps throughout Johnson City.
