Most Of Virginia To Gradually Reopen Friday, Two More Localities Ask For More Time
As southwest Virginia and most of the rest of the Commonwealth plan to gradually reopen some businesses on Friday, two more Virginia localities are asking Governor Ralph Northam to delay their reopening efforts. The city of Richmond and Accomack County, which is on the state’s eastern shore, have both asked Northam to delay a gradual reopening of some non essential businesses. The governor is easing some restrictions in most of the state Friday, but has previously delayed reopening in Northern Virginia. Governor Northam did not immediately respond to the new requests for delays.
