Johnson City Man Arrested On Multiple Burglaries And Theft Charges
Police have arrested a Johnson City man in connection with a string of burglaries and thefts that occurred back in March. 29 year old Christopher Forbes of 310 Chestnut Street is charged with aggravated burglary, auto burglary and theft charges after police found stolen property on Forbes when he was arrested on a separate, unrelated matter. Following an investigation, authorities discovered the items were linked to multiple burglaries and thefts in the areas of Llewellyn Wood Dr, Lester Harris Road, Holly Street, and Laurel Avenue. Forbes is jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on an 86 thousand dollar bond and is scheduled for a court appearance Monday.
