Jonesborough Getting Update On Summer Events That Might Still Be Held

The Town of Jonesborough may be small in size but its summer schedule is packed with events that have either been canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But with Governor Lee expected to announce loosening of restrictions for reopening some larger events later this week, the Jonesborough Board of Mayor and Alderman is getting an update on where some of the events are as far as planning and scheduling during the COVID-19 outbreak is concerned. The board will also receive information concerning the Town Programs Update which deals with Town Centers, Visitor Centers, and other rental buildings for classes and events. The meeting begins at 8:30 Tuesday morning.
