Masks, limited crowds part of new normal as Dollywood announces precautions for June 17 opening
Special precautions will be in place when Dollywood and Splash Country reopens later this month, company officials announced Wednesday.
All guests ages 3 and older will be required to wear masks while inside the park with the exception of selected rides and dining areas. Both facilities will be limiting the number of guests on a daily basis and season ticket holders will be required to make reservations.
Physical distancing measures have also been installed at most ride locations and guests will be required to have their temperature taken before being allowed into the park.
Opening day is scheduled for June 17 with special hours for season pass holders on June 15 and 16, the report said.
