Tazewell County, VA Sheriff’s Office, FBI investigating home after finding combustibles, explosives

Multiple law enforcement agencies including the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI, and Virginia State Police are investigating an incident involving explosives found at a home in Richlands.

Information from the department says the reported incident occurred on Holy Road, where officials located combustible and explosive material inside and outside the house. Some residents have been asked to leave their home near the area but will be able to return soon. A large presence of police will be on site over the next few days, which could result in power outages and delays.
