Commonwealth Provides Lengthy Guidance For School Reopenings
Now that we know schools in Virginia will reopen this fall, in a modified form, the difficult work begins for the local school systems who must come up with a plan to submit to the Commonwealth before school reopens. The state has developed a nearly 126 page guide to assist school systems with their education plan for the next year. Recover, Redesign, and Restart was developed by education officials from across the state. The plan gives maximum flexibility to school systems that are more limited in their personal instructional offerings than the phase allows and the state education department suggests the schools use the guide for their planning.
