NEW: Carter County authorities searching for missing teen

The Carter County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office issued a missing person alert Thursday afternoon for a teenager from the Milligan area.

Jacob Clark, 15, was spotted at Walmart in Elizabethton Wednesday evening after investigators identified him on surveillance video footage.

Clark is 5 feet 2 inches tall and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The boy’s parents indicated that Jacob has an auditory hearing problem and if someone spots him they should slowly and clearly to him.
