Appalachian Power issues message to customers that company will not disconnect power for non-payment right now
Customers of Appalachian Power will not have their electricity turned off right now due to non payment.
That message comes from officials with the power company on a social media post on Sunday as some people may continue to find themselves struggling with bills due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Appalachian Power went onto say customers may receive a disconnect notice, but mentions no action is needed on that notice at this time.
Officials say these are being sent to allow customers to know where their account stands, and anyone with concerns about their bill should contact the company so a proper paying arrangement can be set up.
