UPDATE: VSP identify male killed in crash Saturday in Wythe County, VA

State police have identified the victim in Saturday’s two car fatal crash in Wythe County, VA.

Virginia State Police say Stacey Mulkey, 50, of Radford, VA was traveling on Route 69 around 3:30 p.m, when his Honda traveled across the center line and struck a Ford Taurus head-on that was driven by Rebecca Woods, 41, of Max Meadows, VA. Mulkey died at the scene and was not wearing a seatbelt. Woods was airlifted to Roanoke for treatment of serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
